In the beginning there was TotalBiscuit. And all the days of TotalBiscuit were 12,496. And lo, on the 9,920th day, TotalBiscuit rendered unto us a gift. TotalBiscuit begat Hegemony, ZiggyD, Morsexier, Kripparian, Zizaran and many, many more. Then all the days of the exiles numbered greater than the grains of bloodied sands of the Wraeclast coast.
While many folks hold close the idea that Kripparian led us all here, let us not forget John Bain. Not to downplay Kripp’s importance – he illuminated the way (and brought along a refreshing citrus beverage) for quite some time in the early days of PoE. An always-on streamer and frequent podcast guest, Kripparian indeed deserves an exhibition credit.
Speaking of podcasts, you might find traces of a few lying about in the nooks and crannies of the interweb. My favorite to rosy-glasses back to occasionally is State of Exile, though as a tourist I’ve not be able to find all episodes in one place.
So here we are, no longer washed up on the beach (except once, twice [or on a half-dozen re-rolls] every 4 months). Zeno taught us how to build defense while Nugi took that to heart. Aila taught us how to rank 1 with zero-buttons. Tie23he demonstrated how to grill chicken. And Waggle mastered gardening. Meanwhile I’m sitting here trying to play PoE 2 on a 2-button mouse.
